EVS in Jugendwerk der AWO

Life as a European volunteer in Stuttgart, Germany

The Jugendwerk der AWO Württemberg e.V. is a German non-profit EVS Hosting Organisation that is located in the very center of Stuttgart, the capital of Baden-Württemberg. We offer two 12-month positions for EVS volunteers per year, on a 6-month rotating basis.

This blog is set up and maintained by the EVS volunteers at Jugendwerk, to give you an idea of what life is like here as a European Volunteer. We will post updates about our work and activities in Jugendwerk, life in Stuttgart and Germany, general info about EVS, and other things we’d like to share.

We hope you enjoy this blog :-) !

Hello! I’m intrested in this project. But I have a question about accommodation and food arrangements. What do you offer? I didn’t find this information in description, sorry for distracting you if this information is there.
    Thank you in advance.

Dear Helena, you will live in your own room, in a studen residency in the city center, 5 min from the Office. For Food you get Food money, as in every EVS Project.
